Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available for established patients. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him or her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
We do offer to make housecalls for our clients, within a limited area. Housecalls must be scheduled in advance, and while we will try to schedule a visit that is convenient for you, we cannot guarantee that your desired time slot will be available. Please ask a staff member for details.
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet in our waiting room. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room. Cats being discharged from the hospital following surgery or anesthesia are required to be transported in a carrier. Inexpensive, reusable cardboard carriers are available for clients who need one. Just ask!
Prescription Policy
If your cat needs prescription medication, such as flea or parasite preventative, or medication to treat an illness, we are happy to provide the medication from our in-house pharmacy. If you prefer to obtain your cat's medication from another pharmacy, we will gladly provide you with a written prescription. We do not authorize faxed prescriptions or prescription requests by telephone, due to quality control and liability concerns. If your cat needs a prescription refill, feel free to submit a prescription refill request online from our site.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and personal checks. Those clients wishing to pay by check must provide a driver's license number. If your cat's illness requires hospitalization, you will be asked to leave a deposit upon admission to the hospital. Any remaining balance will be due upon patient discharge.
Privacy Policy
All of the information we collect about our patients and clients is kept in the strictest confidence. We will never release or sell your personal information to anyone without your permission.
