Surgery



We are very proud of the facilities that we offer our patients, and our surgery room is no exception!  This room is reserved for patients requiring sterile surgery, such as spay or neuter, but also more serious surgeries, such as bladder stone removal or fracture repair.  Our surgery room is equipped with state-of-the-art anesthesia and monitoring devices. 

If your pet needs to undergo anesthesia or surgery, he or she will be fully monitored by a dedicated technician.  Our monitoring program includes EKG, pulse oximetry, respiratory and temperature monitors, and continuous blood pressure monitoring.  In addition, all cats undergoing anesthesia or surgery are given intravenous fluids through a catheter, in order to provide blood pressure support and provide access for emergency medication should the need arise.

All veterinary clinics are not created equally!  Ask your veterinarian what type of support and monitoring they provide to surgical patients.
