Appointment PoliciesNew Client Appointments Due to a high number of no-show appointments and the high demand for veterinary care, Riverside Cat Hospital requires a booking fee to be paid in advance for all new clients in order to schedule. This fee will be applied to the cost of your upcoming visit. If you request to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Deposits maybe refunded if your appointment is cancelled with at least 24 business hours notice. We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Our goal is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. In order to be respectful of the needs of other patients, we ask that you call or text our office promptly if you are unable to make an appointment. If it is after-hours, please leave a detailed text message or voicemail. No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy: If you are a current client, the first time there is a no-show or a late cancellation, there will be no charged, but a reminder letter will be sent outlining our policy. A second no-show or late cancellation will incur a fee equivalent to the cost of the exam that was missed or cancelled late. Additional/multiple no-show’s or late cancellations may result in termination from the practice. If you are a new client, or have not been seen at our practice in over 1 year, a booking fee will be required to schedule future appointments. Late arrivals: If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, we will make every reasonable effort to see your pet. However, late arrivals make it difficult for our staff to keep on time with seeing other clients and patients, and can adversely impact patient care. For this reason, we reserve the right to reschedule appointments for clients who arrive more than 5 minutes after their scheduled appointment time. Surgery No-Show Policy A surgery slot that is missed or not cancelled within 24 business hours may be subject to a $100.00 fee per surgery that was missed or cancelled late. Consecutive no-shows for surgery appointments may result in termination from the practice.
