Boarding

Boarding RoomWhen your cat boards with us, he will be comfortable in our brand new spacious boarding kennels! These kennels are made of tempered glass, to eliminate the cold feel and noise of stainless steel. The kennels have built-in ventilation to reduce odors, heated floors for comfort, and dimmable lighting for both day and nighttime. The kennels also have a separated area for a litter box, as well as a perching shelf. There is a frosted area on the glass door to provide privacy so your cat can hide if he desires.

Of course, we still have our kitty play room, so cats who are more adventurous can get some time out of their kennels to climb, play, perch, scratch, and gaze out the floor to ceiling windows.

Remember, our boarding is for cats only and is "bark free", to make for a lower stress visit for your kitty. We also have special add-on packages available that include extra treats, interactive play time, and grooming time.

Cats staying with us are provided with Science Diet Adult Feline dry cat food, as well as fresh water, dishes, blankets, litter, toys, and treats at no additional charge.  Those wishing to bring their own food, bedding, or toys are of course welcome to do so!

Boarding Policies:

Please call our office for current boarding rates.  Boarders must be up-to-date on their rabies and distemper vaccinations, and must have had a negative fecal check for intestinal parasites within the past 12 months.  If your cat is not current on required vaccinations, a checkup exam must be scheduled prior to your planned boarding dates.

We are happy to administer to your cat any necessary medications while he or she is boarding with us.  Medication administration is charged at $5.00 per administration, for owner provided medication.  We can administer oral medications, topical medications (such as eye or ear drops), or injectable medications (such as insulin).  Due to scheduling arrangements, medications can not be administered more frequently than twice per day. Please understand that some cats can become stressed or fearful when not in their home environment, making administration of medication difficult or impossible. For these patients, it is often better for the cat to find a petsitter who can come to the home to administer the necessary medications.

Boarding cats may be dropped off and picked up during the following hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A special Sunday pick up time is available at 6pm only, by pre-arrangement, and all boarding charges must be paid at time of drop off.
